Everyone has diamonds on their clothes ya'll... Aside from the unrealistic clothing descriptions I am enjoying this one, albeit it is moving at a snail's pace. I think most of the good stuff is going to happen in the unreleased sequel . I don't think it was probably ready for prime time and shouldn't have been pulled from the fan fiction site it probably originated.

I guess I should just be glad that Mary Tudor's hair was described being the correct color rather than black. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure most the writing would be based on the TV show the Tudors. The outfits certainly were. And that's fine I guess if there weren't half page descriptions on them that makes the fact that they are so illy described stand even more out.

Ugh, anytime I read a costume description I roll my eyes. Seriously, stomachers weren't a think in the early 1500s. They wore kirtles. It's not that hard to find that out. Same with knowing that most people couldn't wear sable fur. The book itself is a little more telly

Frowning at sable being worn by non-royalty. I may like my Tudor fashion a bit to much on things like these.

Not terrible. Obviously, not historically accurate. I follow a lot of Tudor stuff online and someone went on a fit on one of the pages I followed about another AU Tudor series getting to be an Amazon show because it was AU history. Um, I sort of like AU history. It gives you a lot of insight on some things. And really Anne's execution was a tragedy.

Pretty good. It's been a while since I've read any alternate history.
