Notes:
(1) Last half of this got really dark. Stuff you probably couldn't get away with today in "Spawn."
- Really hard racial language is used. Not big slurs, but enough to make you wince.
- This deals in hate crimes, human sacrifice and at least the hint of sexual assault.
(2) I guess Spawn's including young women in addition to children as those he metes out justice for.

Notes:
(1) The first issue is a bunch of quick research interviews about Spawn by the true crime writer.
- A lot of reading and not very useful beyond learning Sam and Twitch are back with the police, which happened in some miniseries not included here.
(2) I guess Spawn's a freelance vigilante now, specializing in child abuse cases.
- An interesting new spin on the series.

Notes:
(1) Time to squeeze in one more volume of "Spawn" before the year's over.
- Depending on how fast this one goes I could try and fit in more. Though, I have to read three books in three days in order to complete my reading challenge, so I don't know if I want to risk it.
- My problem with "Spawn" has always been that they're so text-heavy it takes longer to read them.

Spawn has broken free from Heaven and Hells rules. Spawn now walks the earth and does what he feels is right which is punishing criminals. Spawn scarred and nearly killed a devil but he chose not to because he did not want heaven to get an easy victory.
