I really need to read Baurmind’s original parenting style study. It seems that SOS is subtly shifting the definition of “authoritative” and I suspect this is where much of the confusion over GP has arisen.

But SOS is still far more balanced and nuanced than she is given credit for.

Reformed people love to hate on Gentle Parenting without ever having read something written by one. I’m reading this because I’m tired of hearing second-hand information on the topic and want to hear from an original source.
