Status Updates From So Into You (The PI Guys, #2)

I really should learn my lesson about reading authors' earlier works. There's a reason they are lower rated. I sometimes wish readers are wrong... but... they're mostly right. At least this one is somewhat better than the first one.

I don't mind the 3rd person POV for a change either. Like Harmon is trying different things,,,

I knew, from the reviews, that this book would be slow-going at the start. But I didn’t anticipate just how hard of a struggle it would actually be. Ugh!
At 30% right now and there is almost no plot or love-story progression. This book has more of a ‘day-in-the-life’ feel about characters that aren’t that interesting or likable. Please tell me this will all be worth it in the end...
