Status Updates From The Golden Helix

Overall enjoyed The Ultimate Egoist, but the dialogue wasn't very good, and there wasn't much of a plot...but the ending was fun. The dialogue thing is that it just feels weird and unnatural at times. Not sure if it's just that some of it is old-timey language or if the dialogue is just written poorly.

Making my way through "And My Fear is Great", and this story is intriguing to me, but I'm also having a difficult time with some of the dialogue being a little awkward. Particularly the exchange between Don and Joyce the first time they actually meet and talk...and also just how quickly things go from there. I don't know.

I thought The Clinic was okay. Kind of a cool ending.

Me, every time I pick this up: “OK, time to read more of this weird book.” It’s good, bit weird.
