Status Updates From A Time For Vultures (Flintl...

The story is progressing, and KingFisher is so far a great villain. He is a good level of sinister and ruthless. He also makes a good deal of sense for what he is doing. He is trying to live forever after being saved at the blink of death. During that brief moment he saw into Hell and he realized where he will go when he dies.

Oddly enough this has turn into something enjoyable. I am curious to see how it ends.

Disc 1 and 2 = Unlikable characters, with a slightly interesting mystery about what happened to the people of Happy Vill.

Disc 3 = Machine people, main character haunted by his dead uncle.

This story has gone to such a strange place. Either way I am about halfway done with the book.

So far, the main character is unlikable and several of the side characters are racist. Really the only reason I am reading this is because I got it as audiobook for a dollar from a library book sale. Beside that the story is kind of boring. I'm going to finish it.
