The book is engaging and fun so far but I did almost dnf when the author claimed to have conjured Astor in a seance where he interviewed her ghost. I wasn’t sure if this was a joking chapter or if he really wanted us to believe he talked to her at a seance and that the words he claimed she said were hers. Also he kinda blamed her for her daughter being witness to domestic violence which bugged me a bit
