Status Updates From The Silver Brumby / Wild Ec...

I've been enjoying reading this book. Very well written . Up to the second story included in this book.

I've finished the Silver Brumby, and I'm not sure I want to go on to read Wild Echoes Ringing. I'm not sure exactly what is so great about this book, or what the appeal is for children. I read this for my Children's Lit subject, so perhaps my discussions with other students will shed some light. Has anyone read this? Thoughts?

Up to the bit about spring coming the the Snowy Mountains. It's a paragraph that I have remembered since I read it as a little girl.
