Status Updates From Rapture of the Deep

First story: ghouls - the second: Innsmouth. Not bad stories, but unfortunately my two least favorite Lovecraftian sub-genres. But I know what Cody Goodfellow is capable of, and my hopes are high for the rest of this collection.

‘Broken Sleep’ really has a tragic mood. Wild imagery.

‘Archons’ is a highlight. Wow. That story kept me on my toes.

He stops and turns around. His smile glows in the dark as he draws a finger across his throat. ‘I’ll split his share with you.’

A case against hoarding.

Title story was pretty great. In part because I generally am partial to psychic antics.

Legacies of sacrifice.

I can’t say if they’re dead.

Garden of the Gods had really good pacing. Kept up the adrenaline.

So you don’t know the future any more than me.
