Status Updates From Windfall

Ok, stranger things was mentioned... why?

To show some texts on a characters phone the text was italicized and in parentheses. I don’t know if this was intentional, but the next few pages (on the kindle version at least), are italicized for no apparent reason. Be it for grammatical or story purposes. Kind of took me out of the story for a second. I thought they were texting, them I thought it was a dream, now I think it was a big error.

Replacing curse words with names of various fish isn’t as cool as the author thinks it is. Actually it’s not cool (or funny) at all.

When Kylie mentions a Turkish film called revenginator with bootleg subtitles, why was my first thought, the first film that came to mind, A Serbian Film?

This is getting better. Their relationship isn’t as well written as the Before trilogy, but so far it’s a big improvement on sixes wild. Plus, huskies are cute!

I don’t want to know what “terrier yip-hop” is and I don’t ever want to hear that phrase again. Seriously, I got chills from this story so far, from cringe. Also, “stellar vagina”? It’s a unique adjective for a vagina.... but it feels put of place.

Tf is this novel.

I will say I think the story here seems a little more focused then sixes wild, which is a big improvement.

I’m barely even a chapter in and there’s already a typo. Already I can feel this will he better than sixes wild, but I have yet to know if that’ll be in a so bad it’s good kind of way. A simple scene of a fan seeing a celebrity was written well until one paragraph was written like a horror film, then it went back to being normal everyday life.
Does what I’m saying make sense?
