This is a fine book, but what I think it STRONGLY lacks is the immersion in the stories, in contrast to DK's BISE: Poetry Book, which I feel like does a great job at this!
Instead, this book seems to focus more on laying out the groundwork of the setting and era that lead to the creation and celebration of these works of literature.
Thus, these two DK books seem to compliment each other in coverage!
