This is the 3rd book I've read by this author and so far it's my least favorite. Dalton has the potential to be a good guy but he's just an inch or so too far over the "douche" line. And the red pill "beta" reference didn't help.

Chapter 39: Really? She forgave him that easily? She walks in on him and a nude girl and stalks out then forgives him literally two seconds later. I know he didn't do anything wrong cause the chapter is his P.O.V but through her eyes it wouldn't look that way and she didn't even ask him to explain why it wasn't what she was thinking she just slept with him and that was that. Huh???? Ok. So it didn't happen?
