Status Updates From Chef Cutegirl

For a book about a cooking show, we're not really seeing a lot of it on the page.

There's also a really defensive tone between the narrator and the reader that, while present before, js really ramping up.

Oy vey...don't these two know shows like this have cameras in the bedroom? ^^;

Some poor editing is really starting to grate on my nerves. While they're not things that would've been caught by spell check, a decent eye should've seen the at least 4 errors I've counted so far.

The author can't decide what sort of voice they want to give Emily. She seems to go from first time competitor to someone who talks like they've been in this position before. It's conflicting and confusing.

Where's the cooking? She's cutting out all the good stuff. :(

Kind of a stilted writing style. Way too much telling instead of showing. It's like Emily is talking about the experience rather than living it.
