She had hoped she had put such degradation & pain behind her when Piteur died, but if it took that to keep her alive or regain her freedom, Constance would use every advantage it gave her.' ....Damn skippy. I like this chick's attitude.

'The forest & clearing vanished & he was lost in the past, staring at the woman before him. It could be her. The hair was the right colour & years had passed for her as much as for him.
