Ugh, the writing is... not great, and I'm only in the prologue. Also, the narrating character in the prologue is an actual idiot. He claims: "You can do what you can to not end up being a random statistic. And the only way to do that is to be the man holding the gun." Except, uh. 'became a killer or joined a gang due to a crappy childhood' is very much a statistic.

Well, I am on page 239 out of 541 and I am honestly so so bored. I had to LITERALLY take a nap at some point because I was in bed falling asleep while reading this. God, I wish that was a joke.

Colton & Jason are both so boring. I am almost rooting for the kidnapping to happen to spice things up.

I can't believe I fucking binged this book in one night. Remember when I said Suki Fleet's TINALS was a torure book? This one's worse. The entire book is a torture on Colton. God, let my child live. He didn't do anything wrong. This is so fucked up yet I love it very so.
