i started this book because the opening line kinda ate but this is unbearable to read. like i can’t believe i am wasting my time reading this but im in too deep. the main character, story, and writing is insufferable but i am gonna power through until i can’t anymore. the main character is borderline racist and misogynistic i am so sad that i ever picked this up in our progressive year of 2026
