I didn’t realize that half of this volume was going to be New Avengers. I like Bendis’ writing, but the art in his issues is atrocious (specifically, the way women are drawn). Ugh. It feels ridiculous to pair this with the more progressive Mockingbird solo run.

knowing there’s one issue of this run left :(((( Bobbi is epic in this, so smart and funny. The art is actually mesmerising, Joëlle jones’ cover art is mindblowing, the stories are just fun and she’s becoming a much fuller character from these 8 issues alone. What a shame it ended
