These events make me cry the most.

Reading it is like chewing cardboard. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to keep doing it.

And I'm goddamned tired of this whiny jerk and the non-communication. What a melodramatic statement. Get a fucking grip! What about all those quadriplegics, huh? I guess they'd be happy to walk with your goddamned cane! I'm done. DNF.

The trope of non-communication is pesky. Jesse's come-to-Jesus moment at 58% felt unbelievable, and it happened with a total stranger at that. Like he didn't have his family's, friends', and therapist's support. I mean, come onnnnnnn! Ugh. :((

I disagree. They're both. Victims and survivors. Good first 30%. Unfortunately, I'm not terribly invested in the story ATM because I'm bored.

This story had such a strong start and a powerful event... that should be driving this story at breakneck speed, but right now its like slogging through a bog. One slow step after the other. Some will love things being rehashed, countless times, others not so much.
