Chapter 31 is live. ...and they lived happily ever after.

Stiles reaches out and grabs Peter by the shirtfront. Pulls him closer.

“We can give other people what we have, Peter.”

One more chapter to go. This has spectacular.

Chapter 30 is live. Coming together...hearts and minds.

“I’m a work in progress,” Stiles mumbles to his dad when he finally drags himself back to the room they’ve been sharing.

“You’re something, alright,” John says, brows arched. “Need me to find a way to kill anyone?”

Stiles curls up on his mattress, yawning. “Not yet.”

So we have a chapter count now: 31! We're almost done. *sobs*

Chapter 29 is live. And it's oh-so-sexy...and just a little dirty. Yum!

Stiles doesn’t remember getting back onto the bed. He thinks that maybe Peter carried him. He dozes in Chris’s arms, Peter pressed behind him at first.

Chapter 28 is live. A literal birth and a metaphorical one too. Hmm.

“Come inside, Stiles,” Peter tells him, his voice low. He takes Chris by the arm and pulls him back.

Stiles stares at the open door for a moment, his heart pounding in his chest.

Aah (post chapter 28). I reiterate. Lisa, you are the devil

(Leaving us stranded like that).

And.... we're just getting to the good part.

This one has been so abso fantastico. Nothing is rushed to resolution, the characterization is spot onnnnnnn, and I still have no idear how exactly it's all gonna work, especially with Peter and Stiles and Chris.

Chapter 27 is live. This is actually far less dark than I thought it would be by the tags.

Cora exhales shakily. “How bad would it look if we broke into a run right now?”

“Pretty bad,” Parrish says.

Cora reaches out and takes his hand and squeezes it tightly. “I’ll stop you from running if you stop me from running.”

Chapter 26 is live. I love John being all badass and protective. <3

“Nobody ever wins a war, Stiles. Everybody loses something.”

Chapter 25 is live. Huh. Okay...now what?

“Peter, why are there leaves on the walls?”

Peter shrugs. “Magic tree stump.”

Good enough, Chris figures. He’ll take it.

Chapter 24 is live. My heart is full. And now we wait for Deucalion.

“Oh, Stiles,” John says, voice muffled somewhere in the press of their bodies. “Scott. My boys.”

And... I broke down and read through chapter 24 and I don't feel bad at all because it was awesome!

Chapter 23 is live. Wow. Just...wow. Did not see that coming.

Peter howls when he sees the glow of green light from the hospital. Howls, and he’s four years old again, and he’s found something magic.

Chapter 22 is live. ...and Gerard is still a big bag of shit that I hope fervently is hung up by his testicles until they rip off, then blinded.

Derek’s watching the town when he hears the gunshots. It’s hard to gauge distance and direction at night, but they sound close. For a second he freezes, but then tests the pack bonds. Peter’s okay. Still here, still the alpha. He howls, just to be sure.

Chapter 21 is live. Well, that definitely blew Chris's cover.

It’s not fair. Some stupid war that Stiles never signed up for, and it’s destroyed his entire life.

Chapter 20 is live. hurt!Stiles makes me sad. pissed!Peter makes me happy.

“I can get Stiles.”

“Good,” the alpha says, his eyes bleeding red. “Because if you don’t, I will hunt down every person you have ever cared about in your life, and tear their still-beating hearts out of their bodies. Do you believe me, soldier?”

The build-up to the payoffs is intense. Intense!!

My "Lack of Progress" progress update: Lisa's up to chapter 19 but I'm still holding strong at chapter 7. I really deserve a fucking metal for waiting until this fic is finished.
