I really can't stand this character. If the author wants me to believe Grace is a well educated professional in her field, why make her act like such an idiot? In real life, no one doing a field study would ever react so rashly or behave so supremely American as this.

The aliens are described as very pale- white OR bronze and the alien on the cover is blue?

The cover is nice - I will get the author that- but blue? When your aliens are not?
