Dathanja's character arc has been so good. He's forsaking his more violent past. I feel that his arc is a more refined version that was Tuvek's arc in The Birthgrave trilogy.

Azhrarn just had gay sex with Hazrond and that somehow resurrected one of Azhrarn's ex-girlfriends, Vasht.

This book has everything!

That scene with the Drin and his worms son was hilarious.

Welp, every man has pretty much abandoned Azhriaz at this point. She made it to Simmurad, but the angels are here too.
And Dathanja's back too :D

Now someone else rules Druhim Vanashta.

Azhriaz finally left the city for good.

Three angels were just born from the sun and one tossed a pebble at the city and it ripped a man in half. The people thought Azhriaz did and wanted her to punish them too. They are all so sub for her!

Azhriaz is a great character. It's amazing that Lee did a morally grey female character better than any current writer attempting the feat.

Welp, Zhirek left the city as Dathanja. I guess he's just cursed to wander for all eternity.

Azhriaz turned the whole "gods are stones" thing from Delusion's Master on its head.
And now people are blinding killing their families for sacrifices to her.

Azhriaz now rules over an empire like a goddess.

Well, that was a Cersei Lannister move if I ever saw one.

Sovaz really is Azhrarn's daughter.

That was kind of a bittersweet story. I wonder if Sovaz will meet that half-ghoul child now grown up.
