This feels like reading a gritty version of Lolita. Although I must mention that both MCs are of legal age but the age gap? Gah! It still is quite too much for me!

Schooled by a Senior

It’s crude and filthy and I have no complaints. Except I find our hero’s crudeness a turn off plus there are some elements here that could cause triggers, or simply put, a total taboo. The family drama as a side story is scandalous yet intriguing.

I knew from the title this is going to be Fifty Shades-esque. But having this after a near assault leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And that ending! Ugh!

This is another discomforting dynamic. A male teacher falling in lust and love with the student heroine at first sight. Although I am not gonna lie, the sexy times sizzled, but this kind of age gap, insta-love trope is not my jam.

Shut Up and Dance with Me

Now this one’s got the cutest meet-cute and conflict, I should say. Everything about the hero and the heroine’s so light as a cloud 9 (and the banter is just perfection!) that when they are finally together you get the giddy feeling you love having when reading a good romance novel. I wish this could’ve been longer because it’s just adorbs!

Stealing Miss Brooks

A refreshing read as the POV is that of the hero but it is just too short I think the angst and the longing was not fully established. I got intrigued by the author after reading this, however. He will definitely be on my radar.

This gives us an overview of a teacher/ high school student relationship on an emotional level. It is downright chaotic, especially from an adult perspective. But I am not going to take it against the author as I think she is being as realistic as it could get. A bittersweet ending, as it should be, but it would have been better if we could get more.

Break Point

Forbidden and sexy. But more former than the latter.

I have a lot of questions about the backstory of both main characters. And then it ends with a cliffhanger, I am left baffled more than ever. Good thing I found that this has a full length novel somewhere. I guess I need to read it to put me at ease.

In the Moment

This is quite different from the earlier ones I’ve read and I kinda like it. But there is a bittersweet element to it and it can cause triggers to some. While I do not mind sometimes to read something that is quite heavy, I am just glad that this is short so I don’t need to dwell on the heavy stuff.

Lucky Chance

I really have a bias on the reverse age gap trope because I enjoyed reading this one so much! But sadly, the ending is bittersweet and I do not want that for our MCs. Lucky (hah!) for me I found the longer version and will definitely be reading that as soon as I could.

This one has the sub/dom vibe (NTM the hero has an obsessive/ stalker tendencies) and I honestly do not know how to feel about this. But I must say that the sexiness is irresistible I can overlook this domineering alpha while reading.

This has the usual insta-love novella formula that I used to be so fond of reading. The steamy parts are irresistibly sexy, am not gonna lie, but overly alpha hero being super possessive over his very young heroine is creepy and irritating.

Only two more stories left... It feels like ages since I started this anthology

This is anthology is too long, it takes ages to finish it...

I just finished the first story (Learning his law by Celia Aaron) and I'm sorry to say that but it was really really bad. So bad in fact I don't know If I'll ever give a chance to this author again. It's not her writing style that I didn't like but the plot of the story and the hero. I'll post a full review for every story I'll read when I'm finished I just wanted to say that.
