Status Updates From Manga in Theory and Practice

I’ve been a fan of JoJo for almost 8 years now so getting to see a glimpse inside of Hirohiko Araki’s mind and his whole creative process is such a cool experience

“If this book can somehow play a part in the future prosperity of manga, nothing would make me happier”

His casual misogyny vexes and compels me in new, interesting ways; not unlike Hideo Kojima.

Always so interesting to see non-western explorations of Christian characters like this. Araki is totally right in that Jesus Christ is one of the archetypal underdog heroes. By all accounts, he is the most successful character in the world, but you seldom see that explored.
