A very impressive blend of science fiction, fantasy, historical, aliens, vampire and Christianity with Biblical themes of salvation, redemption, God's Sovereignty. Clever worldbuilding into the origin of vampirism (and not from the demonic as depicted in previous Christian fiction tomes). I loved Hamilton's twist on this origin.

I am pleasantly surprised by this novel and the author. I hate the cover, but I did not let that deter me. I was expecting this to be very secular and albeit a different take on the vampire lore but it is Christian based, and based on biblical redemption themes.

I am thoroughly enjoying this, glad I picked it up when offered as a freebie. The remaining two novels look great too!
