It took a year but I finally read this. Had to reread the first 50 pages too.
I am so glad I finished this. Agatha's writing just invites you into the story and doesn't let go. The reveal at the end, while a bit surprising, recontextualizes everything that Mike has said and done. It is the story of a man who wants so much more than he is and him confronting the choices he makes. Honestly, a pretty good read.
