Seriously contemplating a DNF for this book. The first chapter started out with potential, but the alley scene lost it for me. I'm not a huge fan of insta-love, but I don't even think this could be classified as insta-love. And Simon wasn't alpha, he was an ass. This book will have to do some major redemption in the next few chapters for me to actually finish.

DNF - quit at 28% after degrading and disrespectful scene that made me question BOTH characters.
May return to it later, since it's my belief that he's acting this way because of underlying mommy or abandonment issues ~ but it's no excuse for his asshattery.
She's no better. She has a "hit it and quit it" mentality and preys on weaker men. Suddenly she becomes a spineless nympho? No thanks.
