Yep. With just one story, Anthony Ryan has moved up into one of my 'Go to' authors, right up there with longtime faves Stephen King, Joe R. Lansdale, Michael Moorcock, Fritz Leiber, Ursula K. Le Guin, Isaac Asimov, Jules Verne and new-ish faves K.T. Davies, Sarah Cawkwell, Leonard G. Mokos, Aaron Saylor, Thomas Pluck, Camille Alexa and probably less than a handful more. Absolutely brilliant, engaging storytelling!

Michael Fierce is 51% done

Reading this for the short story by Anthony Ryan, *The Lady of Crows*, 0.5 of the Raven's Shadow series, set in the same world as the upcoming Raven's Blade series starting with The Wolf's Call, to be released this Tuesday, July 23rd. This story and writing is incredible. Only halfway through, I can already tell this is an author and series of books I will be reading and collecting for the long haul. Fantastic!!!!!
