Status Updates From The Pass Through

I'm nearly half through it and don't really know what to think of the story so far. The relationship between Kathryn and Lucas gets quite on my nerves and I find them both acting absolutely ridiculous. I'm not even going to start about her mother and grandmother. The part that Armel plays in the story can't I figure out yet but I'm interested in finding out where the story is heading from this.

Ok, now there's somewhat of a twist making me feel hopeful. I like Virgil.

Armed is quite the interesting character setting up an idea of how things are beyond our human lives.

It was a slower start and I'm not sure I get the point yet. I'm a bit bored, but intrigued enough to know that I may come back and finish it just to see how it ends and if I can make sense of it. Well written, but I'm just not getting it.
