WTF, author! Seriously!? Why the F do you include this in your world building?

Bah humbug.

Sometimes authors need to remember that magic should have boundaries. They just had sex and now no absolutely everything there is to know about the other person. That is not exciting to me. Add to that the almost unlimited magic he has to know peoples DNA, to see inside their heads, and to know what has happened around objects... it's too much.

Authors, please stop this!! Please. It does NOT make your beautiful heroines more relatable to have them think:

"What would he want with someone like me... I was so far from beautiful, especially without makeup on that I would consider myself troll-like".

I stupidly started listening to the Audiobook without knowing there were 2 other books before this one, so now I've spoiled myself 🤦🏻‍♀️
I'm pausing this and starting the first book 😅
