I want to write a book where a character that’s been there the entire time just suddenly appears.

Did he just kill off everyone but Henery and Maria?

There’s a good example of how this book flows on this page. We’ve established that Maria is physic but, when she reveals something about the main character that, “Nobody could ever know” he yells, “Who told you!”

She is physic. Duh.

Hey we’re getting into the plot only 40% in?

This whole training thing was a bit much. By a bit much I mean unnecessary.

And somehow, the fact that we’ve not gotten to the plot is the least of the problems.

And there’s no way I believe that Nancy is a professional soldier at this point.

None of this makes any goddamned sense. Why is the general pushing back against what is an obvious decision?

At this point the only thing I can really pick up from Henry is that he’s kind of a gaping asshole.
