Status Updates From Showdown

They went into the state championship ready to play. They have been working all year for this opportunity to play in this environment. But there was a couple of players who weren't allowed to go to this game because they got in trouble. They had to stay at the field and clean it up and repaint it.

They are now going to state. All of the team's hard work had paid off, Except for a couple of boys who got in trouble and couldn't go to the biggest game of their life.

So far in this book, they have had a couple of games but they are not doing so well. They do not have very good team chemistry at the moment but they are getting better every game.

I picked this book because I really like sporty-type books. This book is about cross-town rivals. Both teams are trying to win the championship but there only can be one winner.

Them major turning point for my protagonist is when he gets left in the woods. His friends left him in the middle of nowhere when he said he didn’t trust them so they kicked him out of the truck.

The title is significant because they are having a big showdown. It relates to the protagonist because he looses his whole team and has to showdown the other school.
