April 6/2019 I am taking a break from reading this book not because is a bad read, it just I want to read something else. I will definitely come back to it.

Since my Regency & Victorian era MM/romance curiosity began weeks ago; I "discovered" few "new" authors. My favorites have been James Lear's The Secret Tunnel, Joanna Chambers's Introducing Mr. Winterbourne, K.A. Merikan's The Art of Mutual Pleasure. So, when Amazon suggested this book,I jumped on it. So far the writing is charming,witty & sexy if a bit flowery at times but with 450plus pages many things can happen.

Ugh. This turned boring. I was enjoying it up until the stupid "miscommunication/no communication" was put into play. It stopped being amusing and now I just have to read the same scene from three different perspectives all of them doing the "Oh, I wish they wanted what I wanted." I'll keep pushing for a little more, but I fear this is going into the DNF pile.

I can't, anymore. The only real character development I'm getting happens to be everyone's obsession with cock. Everything else is so convoluted, I'm not even sure if it's literally happening, a fantasy, or part of their lersonal history, or, on multiple occasions, wondering what the hell it's doing in the text in the first place, it's so random.

I have no idea what's going on. There's like, no time line. I don't understand any of anyone's motivations; and considering the page number, I should know something by now. It's like the writing is trying to confuse me on purpose.

Okay, what is going on? The sudden subject changes are making me all confused. The exposition is never ending. :(

Fascinating and absorbing. I think men should still wear "inexpressibles". What fun terminology there was in Regency era.

I'm taking a little break. I find it absorbing and fascinating, but is not an easy read!
