Cool book so far. Could It be that I’ve found s book with a plot AND character development?? Time will tell!

This chick purposely ignores red flags

The playing with her name habit would annoy me “ Lily Pad” “ Lily Flower” 😠 it’s similar to what young children do when teasing... “Anna Banana” etc

So far, there was nothing to be invested in. I'm really hoping Lily gains some personality soon b/c all I got until now was: her mother and her move around a lot, she doesn't have feelings about it either way, she doesn't have any interests whatsoever, and the twins are impossible to tell apart.

This is going to be another Ghost Bird isn't it? This is going to be one of those books that doesn't *actually* accomplish anything besides introductions and then there will be another one in a few months that might do a little character development. I can tell that this is going to be a short book serial that I have to finish. Ugh.
