I’m very interested in this trope/concept..... modern day arranged marriage.... plus I genuinely want to see if the author can pull it off in such a short story! Here I go!

Give them enough hurts to keep them humane, enough failures to keep their hand's clenched tightly in yours, and enough of success to make them sure they walk with you throughout all of their lives.

May they minimize each other's weaknesses and be swift to praise and magnify each other's strengths.

When you're with the person you love the activity doesn't matter. You could literally be sitting on a porch doing nothing for hours and still have the small hint of satisfied smile they had. The kind of satisfied smile that comes from being with the one you love.
