Very slow-moving, wordy, unnecessarily out of chronological order, with an unpromising protagonist. Also, a literary reference that is anachronistic by 50 years (since Peter Pan is Edwardian, not Victorian). Needs about 20% more commas.

Considering a DNF on this one.

Still too concussed to read for any length of time. Hope to be back to this (and everything else I can't currently do!) soon.
