He just had to travel to NY. Soooo apparently not NY. SMH...

His friends are "six states away. But.... we don't know if they're in NM or not.

Who in the hell would consider a man from New Mexico as a "southern boy"?!??

Hmmm.... it's a "trek up to Albany". Sooooo, does that mean NY? Not sure because New Mexico wouldn't be "down south" from NY. Are there perhaps other states that have an Albany? .... I hate not knowing where the characters are. 😒

It's been mentioned, multiple times that New Mexico is "down south", yet we've yet to be told WHERE THIS STORY IS TAKING PLACE! Ugh!!

*sigh* this is in need of a decent proofreader and a decent editor. SMH....

hmmmm.... already one of my pet peeves. These are supposedly Americans in America yet some of this vocabulary is NOT AMERICAN!!! In America it's a bar not a pub! In America it's a windshield NOT a windscreen! If an author wants to place a book in America then it should sound American! 🤬🤬

Nice to know I'm not the only with an excessive fascination with well-formed arms.
