Hmmm.... it's a "trek up to Albany". Sooooo, does that mean NY? Not sure because New Mexico wouldn't be "down south" from NY. Are there perhaps other states that have an Albany? .... I hate not knowing where the characters are. 😒

hmmmm.... already one of my pet peeves. These are supposedly Americans in America yet some of this vocabulary is NOT AMERICAN!!! In America it's a bar not a pub! In America it's a windshield NOT a windscreen! If an author wants to place a book in America then it should sound American! 🤬🤬
