I really like the concept of this story and like the characters. What I am finding hard is that I am having to skip whole pages that are too graphic "romance" scenes. It just may not be worth the constant skipping of pages that read more like porn than a good book. I am very sad when authors find this necessary, really it has nothing to do with the plot!

It's really starting to drag and I've pretty much been skimming the last 20%.

The quality of writing seems a bit inconsistent... Some parts read like the author rushed through them to get on with other events.

As boring as I found the first 30% of the book, the plot twists later are making up for it.
