Status Updates From Cármides o de la Sabiduría ...

I'm reading this for a class next week and so far not making much sense of it. But, other articles I've read about it help put it in the context of Athens both at the time the dialogue is set, and the time Plato actually wrote it.

Socrates tries to impress a young boy whose body has aroused him with all of the nonsense “what does that mean what does that mean what does that mean” he can come up with. And at the end he goes and fucks him. Yuck.
