This book had become so boring, then suddenly there's a twist & the past that's been getting hinted at is revealing itself in an oddly satisfying way... Things were just nauseatingly perfect and annoying all at once... Now I'm intrigued hehehehe

This story reads like something haphazardly put together but also full of inane thoughts by the MC and her hero, who is annoying at best. Having a speech impediment cannot be the sum total of one's entire life that they seem devoid of life experiences due to living in hiding from society's ridicule
The only interesting thing here is the lisp...

Is she going crazy? Is Miss Kesner doing something? Is it related to Mr. Hamilton in some way? Or her mom and brother Byron? What is GOING ON

This book is quite uninteresting so far tbvh. But not bad enough to make me want to dnf. But I am sleepy so we'll just resume it in the morning

She's far too focussed on looks. I don't think I like this all that much.
