The author claims are valid,yet in chapter1 ,her claim seems a bit far reaching and of a stretch, as she uses the term Harem to describe and extend it to beyond it intended meaning,while I applaud for her efforts to Arabize a foreign term, however, in this case it is more of a concept rather than a term
The point she is trying to make is clear,and she tries to unpack it through Fatema Mernissi's Dreams of Trespass
