My gaze drifted from the books to a huge amethyst geode perched on top of the bookcase. It was almost three feet tall, the maw shimmering with thousands of purple teeth. It looked splendid and rich.
"How much is that?"[..]
"That? It's five hundred."
I pulled my hand away. Yikes.
Only?! For an amethyst geode that big, it should have a price tag of 4 figures.

Obsidian is so sharp, she wouldn't even have to try hard for it to cut her.
