Just when I thought the MC’s couldn’t get shittier, here comes the fat-shaming. I know this author is obsessed with abs, but this is just bullshit.

I thought the exclamation points every other page is tiring, but the 'ehhhhhhhh' and 'noooooo' are tiring me out too. (and no, I'm not exaggerating. I counted the excess letters.)

Theo is 24 but acts like 12 most of the time. I sort of feel bad for Jeff. And I also feel bad for feeling bad about Theo's situation when he's such an ass 85% of the time.

Jeff's not the greatest guy either. In this book, it's not who's the better guy. It is who's the more jerk between the two leads.

...but I'm still waiting until these jerks fall in love.

I'm tired. The MCs are either constantly yelling or busy being jerks. But I'm holding onto the review that says "jerks falls in love too."

Decent writing but too much snark that slipped into spiteful territory at times.

Maybe too much snark and definitely not enough romance. I didn’t buy these two as a couple one bit. Maybe because all of the romantic elements were fade to black we didn’t get to fall in love alongside them.

Both MC’s keep referring to all the sexy times they had recently. We weren’t privy to any of it. Therefore, all the references and in jokes mean nothing. It’s like being the only sober one at the party. Bored now.

Noooooooo! That wasn’t even fade to black, it was nothing. Nada. Not even a first kiss. Chucking my toys out of my pram right this minute.

There is a fine line between snark and spite. Sometime Theo is the wrong side of that line.

I’m taking a gamble on an expensive book. Hope it works out...

I have laughed so much reading this over the weekend that I now have a side stitch under my right rib.

OK all was going fine, Jeff is kinda cute, even though he's pathetic. Theo is a little bitch and I don't like him very much, too much drama isn't cute. But I was getting happy for them, and then there's no sexy time?! Seriously? Wth. And then they're like together but we don't know anything? W. T. F.
