// So what was the point of what happened earlier?!? This author can't help but inject her unnecessary $0.02, especially when all it does is cause dissent & unquiet in the reader (it seems), but then never even follows up on it so it's forever a loose tangent!! Blech!!

Though the end was very sweet, an epilogue would have been great!! All in all, aside from a niggle I'll only hold against the author, this was good!!

// This author likes to destroy her books and throw monkey wrenches into potentially fantastic endings, thereby completely destroying the book and everything that it has been building up to!! The author persistently and repeatedly loves doing this it seems, or at least that’s been my experience with SOME of her work thus far, and it makes me resent/dislike this author like nobody’s business!! Fucking hell!!

// Some authors can’t leave well enough alone and they can’t let their MCs tell their own story, and it’s interferences like these that will destroy my desire to read any book this author puts out in the future!! I will finish all the books that I currently own of hers that I haven’t read yet, but once I’m done, I will be done with this author indefinitely!! This author just really rubs me the wrong way!!!

// since you’re harping on this, Aaron, Shane wasn’t thinking that you guys were entering a relationship right in the beginning, he wanted to make sure that there would be an option to become a committed and exclusive couple in the future should you guys continue to see each other, which is exactly what you want now!! Shane feels the same way, just give him time to realize and he wants it with you, which he does!

// OK there’s much more of a backstory and an explanation on the next page over, so it makes absolutely more sense, and it makes complete sense that Shane would conclude what he did, so it’s all good!! I no longer think that it’s as contrived as I did and again it is a very very important crucial topic to discuss!! And on that note, the fact that it happens, is absolutely disgusting, deplorable, and despicable!

// I mean he just got a call from a police officer about his kids, so the rational mind would be terrified that something happened, but instead, Shane immediately jumped to the conclusion that an injustice had occurred! Which may very well have been the case, however in this instance, it seems incredibly contrived and out of place and weird! I feel like this author did it simply to be current and relevant! Obnoxious!

// I feel like this author just plugged this issue in because it’s a socially hot topic right now! I’m not saying that it’s not a serious topic, or a crucial topic, or an incredibly important topic to discuss! Absolutely, no doubt, 100%! But in this specific instance I’m just not feeling the sincerity here and I feel like it was plugged in just for the sake of being plugged in!! Seems this author does this!!
