// So what was the point of what happened earlier?!? This author can't help but inject her unnecessary $0.02, especially when all it does is cause dissent & unquiet in the reader (it seems), but then never even follows up on it so it's forever a loose tangent!! Blech!!

Though the end was very sweet, an epilogue would have been great!! All in all, aside from a niggle I'll only hold against the author, this was good!!

// This author likes to destroy her books and throw monkey wrenches into potentially fantastic endings, thereby completely destroying the book and everything that it has been building up to!! The author persistently and repeatedly loves doing this it seems, or at least that’s been my experience with SOME of her work thus far, and it makes me resent/dislike this author like nobody’s business!! Fucking hell!!

// Some authors can’t leave well enough alone and they can’t let their MCs tell their own story, and it’s interferences like these that will destroy my desire to read any book this author puts out in the future!! I will finish all the books that I currently own of hers that I haven’t read yet, but once I’m done, I will be done with this author indefinitely!! This author just really rubs me the wrong way!!!

There’s a running theme w/ this author & she consistently and obnoxiously lets what seems to be her own wants & desires & morbid fascinations bleed into the stories she tells & it’s the same thing over & over again! Author deal w/ your own fantasies, and leave your characters out of it!! For fuck’s sake already!

// since you’re harping on this, Aaron, Shane wasn’t thinking that you guys were entering a relationship right in the beginning, he wanted to make sure that there would be an option to become a committed and exclusive couple in the future should you guys continue to see each other, which is exactly what you want now!! Shane feels the same way, just give him time to realize and he wants it with you, which he does!

// Aaron, come on now don’t be that way, Shane needed the time to think and he deserve dthe time to think, and he deserved space to reflect on the fact that you feel differently now, which is an amazing thing, because he feels exactly the same way, and you guys are meant to be!!
