Status Updates From Singing Electricity

I may have to DNF this.

Just finished the second novela and theyre just leaving me disappointed.

Writing is okay, the stories are okay, but I think a bit too complex for novelas. I'm not getting enough background.

Seems the author is really known for her smut so I guess that's just the focus... but if that's the case then there is too much story happening.

The balance just isn't there for me.

Lmao. I don't know what I was expecting- it was recommended by someone on instagram- but werewolf smut was not it. Going to see it through bc i gotta see where this goes.

I've read the first two and I'm taking a break to read something different before starting the third story. I liked the first one and then got a little bored/frustrated with the second one. I think because so much time is spent in the heroine's head, the constant turmoil of feelings being described gets to be a little much. I thought taking a break to read something else might help me enjoy the next story more.
