Status Updates From Rising (The Traveler #4)

Books do t make me cry. Well apocalyptic ones don’t - right?

I’m a no spoilers gal but omg! First 60 seconds omg!!!!!!!

No punches pulled. First few seconds of the audiobook and beloved characters gone. For some reason, I was more sad about Peeko in the last one (probs because he had amazing character progression). This is good. It’s a good post-apocalyptic western. Not high literature, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s fun.

It's pretty disappointing that this book starts with wiping the slate clean. It seems like the series was complete, but the author decided to keep going and couldn't find a way forward without killing everyone off. Maybe he should've just left it alone and continued with completely different characters.
