It's great to return to books that I loved as a kid and find out they're just as fun as an adult

I DNF'd this book today, after reading 84 pages. I really enjoyed the first two books, which I listened to on audio CD years ago. Maybe it is the distance between those books and this one, or my differing reading tastes, or the different pace of this book. But I'm not enjoying it. Life's too short.

I need to listen to this on audio. It seemed difficult for me to follow the characters and story line.

I often get confused by all the characters, initials for The Seems workings, and the plot.

New places, characters, and metaphors fill the story with danger, intrigue and humor.

Hulme writes an amazing series about The Seems, a world of metaphors, that are the caretakers of the World! Becker is now 14 years old. He was on top of the world, but he violated one of the Seems cardinal rules. He has a girlfriend, from outside of The Seems. There is a unbelievable punishment, but it is interrupted from being carried out when the worst catastrophe ever takes place. He is called back to duty.
