This story feels more like the godfather than a shifter tale. The paranormal angle is just incidental. Except, harold sr. isnt the Vito Corleone but his grandmother is. I would say Harold sr. is more like the Michael's sister's philandering husband. I appreciate that this book is less violent though. ; )

well the wedding and bedding went well and they are both intrigued but cautious. both their families are worrisome in their ability to interfere (with good intentions and without). i wish harold qoukd stand up to hos family more. love christine.

harold works within the tight confines of his uncaring , cold hearted family. he guards himself well and keeps his opinions to himself. he dates women whom he would never want to mate. sabrina is his current ex/bitch
christine has a loving family but her boyfriend, roark was hoping to use her to climb up.
an intriging setup. lots of potential.
