Crazy how many new relationships form out of grief/trauma, or in this case, murders 😳 On a different note tho, love the relationship that Nick is forming w/ Jade and Obsidian. 🥺

This bk. gives me Razorblade Tears vibes, but w/ a coastal surfing element. I feel like I’m “one of the guys” when reading this bk., and it’s oddly entertaining.

Has certainly picked up.

Third time is the charm? I was distracted the other times I tried to get into Pirata. This is a Book Outlet less than $2 clearance book. I found the audio on Hoopla, and it helps. The story is okay, and that's the problem. This is another Davenport, Bosch, Cross, etc. I stopped reading those years ago. They are the print version of Dragnet .... The names and places have been changed. Yawn.
